On May 1^st of this year, Blizzad held a great wow contest, which attracted thousands of wow players to participate in for winning the 500,000 WoW Gold (USD5000.00)

Contest entry rules required only that players register and submit a name for WoW Gold Pig's Twitter mascot. The Pig team is comprised of avid online game players who are also very active in social media networks. Based on their belief that there is significant overlap between online game players and those who are active in online communities in general, the team felt that a contest recognizing that overlap would be well received.
