Do you want to know how to raid in world of warcarft? Upon requests of players, I decided to share our collected skills with you, here goes.

Step 1: Choose a role you'd like to fill. Naturally, you're going to be limited depending on which class you are, unless you're a Druid or a Paladin. What you choose may depend on which you feel you'd excel more at, what your guild needs, or which role you like playing the most. For a class with more than one dps spec, you're going to have to decide, either through testing each spec or playing eenie-meenie-miney-mo, which one to play.

Step 2: Speccing. There are a few ways to go about this. The first, and probably easiest, way is to just ask in guild chat or spam trade for someone to help you work your spec. You can also go to different websites that offer spec help, such as Elitist Jerks, WowWiki, or just search "[your class] best raid spec" Make sure you understand why you spec into certain talents, and conversely, why you don't spec into other talents for your selected spec. Also, understand the rotation you'll be using, as well as what to do should a certain ability proc.

Step 3: Testing out your new spec. The best way to do this is to make use of the training dummies in the capital cities, or do an easy heroic/regular instance to make sure you have the hang of your rotation, and that you can recognize when an ability procs.
